This app is an extension of the book: Practicing God’s Presence: A Thirty-Day Adventure by Mike & Diane Cook. Even though it stands alone without the book, it is best used by reading the book first and then activating the app. The app corresponds to the devotional reading of that day in the book

That book is about Brother Lawrence who was an ordinary and unlearned man without the education necessary to qualify as a priest. The Cooks wrote their book to present a helpful tool to use as a short devotional. They have taken one hundred and fifty tips from Brother Lawrence and present five of them plus two scriptures to you each day to integrate into your life.
